Birders will look at birds any & everywhere! so here is a Rufous-tailed Lark near the ruins
And a White-cheeked Bulbul in a tree nearby
This and the picture below give a view of the Rann of Kutch. Taken from the ruins.
Unlike the Little Rann of Kutch (See my blog with link on this page), this is a stark desert where absolutely nothing can survive. It is just sheer white sand
